North East Paradise
Delivered entirely as a turnkey project, this 3500 sq. ft. residence was handed over to Advocate Ashok Saraf, who visited the house for the very first time only on the day of handover. From bare shell to fully styled interiors, this new house in North East India reflects the quiet confidence of a client who trusted the designer’s vision unconditionally.Without a single client input, the interiors were conceptualised and executed to express personal storytelling, functionality, and timeless elegance. One such highlight is the spoon wall installation in the kitchen — a bespoke feature crafted to reflect the family’s unique hobby of collecting ornamental spoons.

This home is called a paradise because every corner is designed to evoke serenity, elegance, and ease. It seamlessly blends modern luxury with everyday comfort, turning thoughtful design into a way of life.

In a home where each room narrates its own color story, this particular space was intentionally designed as a visual pause — a calming, grey-toned cocoon amidst more vibrant zones. Since other areas of the house already played with colour, we opted for a monochromatic grey palette here, creating a quiet, grounded atmosphere. To soften the cool undertones of the grey, warm ambient lighting was introduced — bringing a sense of comfort and balance without disrupting the design harmony. When it came to selecting the bed — the focal piece of the room — we were looking for something that seamlessly combined luxury, comfort, and material elegance. The moment we saw the Stanley grey leatherette bed, we knew it was the perfect fit. Its sleek upholstered finish added just the right amount of visual texture without overwhelming the space, while the plush, structured headboard invited rest and relaxation. The decision was almost instantaneous — a bed that not only matched our tonal direction but elevated it. It was a rare alignment of form, function, and aesthetic — a choice that reinforced the principle that design is most powerful when it flows intuitively from the mood of the space.
